At last Handheld GPS is affordable and fantastically functional. Bushnell have created the BackTrack so you needn't ever get lost again.
Although the unit doesn't contain street maps, it prodruces a map to show where you are relative to positions you've logged.
We've been wondering... Clearly the unit is a great gadget but does it have practical uses too? We believe the Bushnell BackTrack offers added safety and security when treking/hiking as well as providing information such as distance covered and speed. The built-in compass also works execptionally well.
The idea behind the Bushnell BackTrack is that you will always be able to 'Back Track' to your starting location. When you set out simply press the button to record your location then set off whilst viewing on screen which direction you came from.
