The choice of name for this range of binoculars was no accident. The latest state of the art technology developed after 50 years of experience has resulted in a level of performance which produces truly outstanding image clarity and contrast in all weather conditions which makes them worthy of the name.
Bushnell’s unique XTR technology has made a major breakthrough in optical performance by minimising the high level of light loss which occurs as it passes through the many prisms and lenses of roof-prism binoculars by coating each prism with a staggering 60 layers of coating. They achieve an average overall light transmission of 90%. The ‘Elite’ is without doubt the leader in its class.
With Bak-4 roof prisms and O-ring seals they are 100% water/fog and dustproof. This is further enhanced by Bushnell’s patented ‘Rainguard’ water-repellent coating which eliminates the problems caused by rain, sleet, snow and condensation.
With twist up eye cups and long eye relief these Bushnell Elites have smooth centre focus and a locking centre diopter adjustment dial.
Protected by a rugged yet ultra light rubber armoured magnesium chassis and scratch resistant powder coat Bushnell Elites are light to carry and a joy to use.
