Hawke have designed these Classic 20 x 50mm binoculars to provide a powerful magnification, combined with large objective lenses that give bright clear images they can be used for long distance applications. They are coated with a tough rubber to ensure your investment is protected and provide good all-weather grip.
These Classic 20x60 binoculars are not really suitable for hand held use. The exceptionally high magnifaction means that any slight movement in your hands is magnified over the distance you are viewing, using a tripod solves this problem.
As a porro prism model these classic 20x50's offer excellent depth of field and a wide angle view considering their high power magnification. They also feature Hawke's ALT 5.6 design enabling them to out perform others in it's class.
Conventional binoculars typically have 10% distortion, this is reduced by 44% to 5.6% with the new Hawke ALT system.
