As a porro prism model these classic 16x50's offer excellent depth of field and a wide angle view considering their high power magnification. They also feature Hawke's ALT 5.6 design enabling them to out perform others in it's class.
Conventional binoculars typically have 10% distortion, this is reduced by 44% to 5.6% with the new Hawke ALT system.
